Be Well Baby

Webinar Description: 
This presentation will briefly discuss the public health issue of prenatal tobacco use in Arkansas, and provide the audience with information on Be Well Baby, a program of the Arkansas Department of Health.  This program provides incentivized cessation, tailored to pregnant tobacco users.   We will also correlate how smoking during pregnancy can effect early childhood development and will discuss ways that you can help pregnant moms stop smoking by utilizing your positive partnerships.

Presenter:
Joy Gray, TTS

Joy Gray is the Branch Chief for the Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Program and the Arkansas Department of Health.  She is one of the creators of Arkansas’s current tobacco quitline, Be Well Arkansas.  Her background includes 8 years in public health, and 12 years in adolescent mental health care.  She is a tobacco treatment specialist, and is passionate about helping Arkansans get healthy.
